Stock unit is 10lbs 13oz

HKS unit is 11lbs 9oz

It sounds sweet sweet sweet. Very mellow...I'll take pics and post audio tomorrow.

Disappointed that it looks just like any other fart can muffler. I'd rather have a more stock-looking exhaust but with a nice tone. That being said, i'm going to try and hold out to see what Apexi puts out in regards to the WorldSport line, BIG fan of the WorldSport systems, have a WorldSport 2 on my '91 Civic.

What i'd really like to see Apexi bring back, is the NOIR series, the entire exhaust (muffler included), was gunmetal.

+1 Sorry to be ungrateful, but I really could not get a feel for the exhaust with that video. Any chance you could possibly take some interior footage or possibly some driving impressions?

One more try...6 minutes of neighborhood cruising...

If you find it lacking in "sound" register it's because the exhaust is very mellow. Motor doesn't sound as strained as it does with stock exhaust when being pushed. I like it alot. Wasn't looking for a "Hey! Look at me" exhaust note and I couldn't be more pleased.

Took me three tries to get to this point. First two passes there was an annoying rattle. Pin pointed it to the bezel on my camera. Put some masking tape on it and this is as good as it's gonna get. Used some bungee chords and a tripod mounted on the folded down seat backs. Professional it aint, but it'll do...

YouTube - 09 FIT AT HKS HI POWER

It still has some rattles here and there but what a ya gonna do???

I like it. Not too loud. My PRM Intake is louder than that from the inside.

DSC00100-1.jpg?t=1244172327
it sits flush with the bumper and is not very loud at all. it has a much deeper more bassy tone but not obnoxious loud at all. the only attention i'll be getting from cops is for the size of it

it was really easy. getting the oem hangers out of the rubber holders was kind of a pain(and probably would've been easier with wd40) but it took about 5 minutes to take the old axle-back off and 2 or 3 to put the hks on. i had my friend nick (wait4thefit) come over and help me though just because i'd never done it before. and i'll have a start up and take off video up in just a minute

Agreed, I do wish that the Apexi World sport would get released quicker. Matter of fact I wish the Aftermarket would catch up with demand. I am tired of Waiting! That being said I really like the reserved nature of the HKS exhaust. I know this is a stretch, but was there any difference in power at all?
