Your all on crack! There is absolutly no mids. My old ford escort with $120 walmart radio and 2nd hand 5x8's with no amp sounded way better. Treble is good, bass is less then average. Its the one bad quality in the car. But there is hope as it can be changed.

 

For Stock I am very happy with the fits sound system. Its good enough that I wont be modifying it for a few more months. I'd rather put the extra money into the car payments than the sound system for now.

 

I think the stereo is quite good, you should hear the crap box in my 07 Toyota Tundra.

 

Heh, working on a flightline for over 20 years....it sounds fine to me. Then again, I don't hear the difference between a $10 radio and a $10,000 stereo.
