Cabin filter location?

I was just wondering if the cabin filter is located in the same place as the GD's?

Shown Here: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...placement.html

Also is the fuel filter located in the gas tank as well on the GE8?

Thanks

Yup, the filter is in the exact same place on the GE. I've had mine apart already out of curiosity. It takes less than a minute to remove it. Servicing is the same as those instructions you linked to.

I checked the service manual. The filter is in the fuel tank, and is assembled to the fuel gage sending unit and fuel pump. This is one complicated little car.

Are you sure about the fuel filter? While installing my PRM intake (AT), There is what looks to be a fuel filter on the diver's side of the engine bay toward the back, above the transmission, under the factory airbox. I haven't looked it up so I may be wrong and if I am, are you able to tell what I'm refering to is?

I looked up "fuel filter replacement" in the '09 service manual, and that's what the manual shows. Can you show me a picture of what you're looking at?

Here is a pic. It is right under the PRM intake between the red positive terminal cover and the little green connector in the picture.

I can't find that part on my car (the stock airbox is in the way). I can't say for sure, but that looks like a vacuum switch of some sort.

Does the GE's use the same cabin air filter as the GD's. If so I can get them allot cheaper through FIT cabin air filter for a 2008 HONDA $7.1 then what the dealership is charging. They are quality filters as I use the same brand in my Tacoma.

Thanks for the replies.

I looked up the part #'s at bernardiparts.com and they are different for the GD & GE8.
