They're probably OK quality. If you're worried about condensation, you can probably add some extra sealant to prevent leaks. I know some people that have had ebay tails work perfectly, and I know some that had LEDs go out.

If you can wait, why not just spend a little extra and get some from Japan?

PM me if you have questions.

i think they're decent. you might have to extend the wires a little bit to fit. (At least with the GD3s you did)

thanks, I think I may consider it...I do like the JDM ones more but 500 bones? I only like the smoked lights thats all, no need to spend half a K for it...I would smoke the the OE ones but I think it will look bad if I messed up...

Other than the JDM Honda ones....., I believe the Depo(?) brand are JDM_DOHC_SiR approved...

I think the problems with the other ones were fitment (slight problems) and condensation (which could be fixed with sealant as mentioned).

If you like the look of your current tail lights there's plenty of DIY's on here, and as I recall from reading them, be sure to use very light coats, and you can remove the paint if you feel you messed up.

I still cant decide which tails I'd get.. I like the JDM base tails I wish they were same style but with LED's... and I also like the chrome accent ones by the other brand (can't remember the name, I think it was Depo).... good thing it's not on my top priority of mods, and will probably be one of the last mods I do on my car.

I was under the impression that smoked tails were actually illegal? (at least here in California...)

Yeah, I just wasn't sure of the name.... Depo, Bepo, Repo, etc. etc..

I vaguely remember Dave saying the Depo's were ok with fitment and no condensation in some older thread.... I think it was also mentioned that as long as the after market brand was made in Japan there were no problems.... I just can't recall exactly. I also think pics were posted of the Depo's.

i don't think you'll have any trouble with smoked tails as long as you don't black them out.

like so:

If you just want smoke tails just buy the Ricochet film and smoke your tails...that's what I did and it turned out awesome...+it's removable if you get sick of it or get pulled over by the LAW.

Here's mine after the smoke film, I only did the upper half so my brake lights would still be visible.

those LEDs are made by Axis. fitment should be good. I've seen a few GEs here that runs them. They have the all clear, smoke clear, red and clear and red and smoke available.

Mine are the same as these, but I slightly smoked the clear lense as you can see.

After six months the LED's are still 100%, no water, misting or scratches etc.

lek, is the middle portion the blinkers? or the bottom portion?
I bought the all clear version of that because the ebay seller was out of the red and clear. I'm thinking of reding out blinker myself. Does anyone have any pics of the all clear version on a white GE?

The middle portion are the blinkers. I saw the clear on a black fit, they looked awsome.

Maybe this pic will help. Sorry it's so close, it's the only one I could find quickly.
