I got mine from a local vinyl and plastic film supplier. I'm sure there is something like that in your area. It took me about 30 min. to get both sides done. Just make sure you stretch the film over the taillights from back to front and then cut the film once on the lights. you want to use some water to spray the lights before you put the film on (with a drop of dish soap in about 1 quart of water).

I can get the JDM LEDs for under 500....

I just a fan of doing it right, the first time. I don't like cutting corners, and if the JDM LEDs are the best possible thing to get, then I'll get that. There are ways to get japanese parts for a better price that what's normally found.

At the same time, if you have a tight budget - you have to work with what you have to work with....but then again, if you have a small budget, you money is better off doing wheels and suspension first - it'll make more of an impact.

sometimes its not all about jdm, yes the JDM lights are factory and obviously would have the best quality. You've got to consider what styles you like as well. Some ppl may prefer the JDM style and some will prefer the aftermarket axis ones. They are two different sets of lights with very different styling. Its really not about choosing the JDM is the right choice. I think its mostly based on personal preference.
