Thumbs up found cabin air filters

I've been looking for cabin air filters for my GE8, (without going to the "stealership" and paying $38), and I found them through autopartboys on eBay for $10! They're listed as 07-08 models, but they work in the 09's too...just wanted to share this with my fellow FF's

Nice find! +1

What's the estimated life span of these bad boys? How often to replace?

Awesome find! I've been looking around various websites to find deals on OEM parts for my new Fit, so this is great. However, I do have one question. I can info on how to replace the cabin filter on the 07-08 Fits, but not the 09. Does anyone know how to replace the cabin filter for the 2009 Fit?

It's as easy as can be. Open the lower glove box, take everything out, and then push the two sides of the glovebox inwards until the box drops down to reveal a rectangular box behind it. On the left and right sides of the rectangular box are tabs which you push inwards so that the box can be slid out. The box is actually a tray in which the filter sits--lift out the old filter, drop in the new, reverse the above process, and you're done. You'll be surprised what you find stuck in the filter.

I've got about 18,000 miles on mine, I guess it depends on the area where you live and driving conditions. It's pretty easy to check the filter periodically to see how dirty it is.
