5 lug

Does anyone know where to get the 5 lug conversion from? Anyone have parts numbers to the spindles and hubs form the the JDM fit? I would like to convert my 4 lug to 5 lug to get a decent set of wheels on the fit!!!!

Just do what one guy did and drill into your hubs and drums! hahahah

Seriously, I think you need to do a DC5 swap.

Just out of curiosity, what do you think the spindles and hubs from a jdm fit are going to do for you? Unless you are talking about whats needed to convert the rear from drums, if so it is a lot more than just those parts.

did u wana do a whole spindle change or just 5-lug conversion? I think t00l or sum1 else had 1 of those adapters from 4-5lug converter back then. I'm really sorry, i don't remember who it was, but that's an easy way of going about it w/o too much hassle and it'll give u xtra clearance for a bbk too!

IamRay ran 5 lug adapters a long time ago with ITR wheels. He switched back to 4 lug now.

Converting 4 bolt to 5 bolt wheels is a huge waste of money and time. Thweight alone of the adapters make them worse than stock, not even mention the 25+mm change in offset.

It's not a waste of money to everyone. To me (wheel whore) a 5x114 conversion would give me a TON of options for wheels. Most of the awesome, classic wheels did not come in 4x100, and 5x114 wheels are typically cheaper in Japan. So while it would run more money to swap over, in the long run it would save me money.

uh huh. checked the availability of wheels with 62 to 75 mm offset? The further out you push the dish the farther you have to come back in with the rim if you want the wheel in about the same place. The thinnest 5 bolt to 4 bolt adapter here is at least an inch thick (25+mm)
And of course don't concern yourself with increased bearing loads.

I was talking along the lines of a full hub swap, not a bolt on adapter. In general, wheels in Japan that are 5x114 a cheaper than those in different bolt patterns... and typically higher offsets are cheaper than lower ones. And i'm not going to check on a wheel with anything near a 62 or higher offset. let alone a 50. Come on man, you know me. Low offset FTW.

BTW the thinnest adapter I've seen running was 15mm.
