I was talking along the lines of a full hub swap, not a bolt on adapter. In general, wheels in Japan that are 5x114 a cheaper than those in different bolt patterns... and typically higher offsets are cheaper than lower ones. And i'm not going to check on a wheel with anything near a 62 or higher offset. let alone a 50. Come on man, you know me. Low offset FTW.
BTW the thinnest adapter I've seen running was 15mm.

I'm not sure if anyone stock ems, but my buddy had his custom made...it's not as expensive as it sounds. They custom make em hubcentric too

I know! I have some s2k spec mf10s here (the crazy high offset ones) I want to put them on the fit sooooooooooooo bad.
I actually have a set of Mugen MF10 in NSX fitment and a set of Mugen M7's in NSX fitment along with the S2k spec MF10's. I am really wanting to out the M7's on my fit!
Yes, I did buy the Mugen MF10's from you guys. I will post some pics when I get some good ones. I have my cars in pieces. Trying to get them back together but just don't have the times.

i hear you can do a 5 lug conversion, using a 06-09 honda civic suspension. now thats only for the front. the rear need adapters, due to the fact that the GE8 has a 1 piece subframe in the rear. the bearings on both sides of the rear are connected together. im working and doing research for the 5 lug conversion. i have 17 inch DC5 wheels i want to put in. i still need to see the clearance, cause i still dont have the suspension swapped in. but soon.

thanks for the information. do you know if the civic si and or 4dr or 2dr is it all the same? I'm trying to figure out of the DC5 will fit because i was able to find a full oem suspension for it. Also lets say i did the DC5 would i need to use DC5 sway bars?

uh huh. checked the availability of wheels with 62 to 75 mm offset? The further out you push the dish the farther you have to come back in with the rim if you want the wheel in about the same place. The thinnest 5 bolt to 4 bolt adapter here is at least an inch thick (25+mm)

i don't see what harm it will do if i just get it re drilled, my car isn't for track and it doens't have 500hp...so i think it should be strong enough

Just throwing this out there for anyone who'd want to do the work.
The current European/UK Civic, the one with the cool, edgy styling, is based on the Fit/Jazz platform.
It has the same suspension setup, including the torsion beam rear suspension, a rarity for Honda autos, unless they have some variation of the "Magic" seats, which only the space saving nature of a torsion beam can allow.
It however, has the 5-lug bolt pattern desired.
So while part from an RSX may provide some form of fitment for the front, I'd say the UK/Euro Civic provides the best opportunity for finding a setup that'll work front and rear.
