May I ask what the reason/benefit of that would be? I'm not being sarcastic.

not sure yet, but want something in the 18" range and most good ones are 5 lug only.

what is your price range for rims? there are many companies that sell a good variety of 4 & 5 lug rims. i know volk racing has numerous different sizes and offsets for 4 & 5 lug wheels.

Higher end multi piece wheels usually come in either 5x114.3 or 5x100 and those wheels are in big sizes, usually no less then 17" up to 19". A real good example is HRE wheels, very high end high quality wheels with a pricetag to match or BBS wheels, not many BBS wheels are offered in 4x100 compared to all there other wheels offered in 5x114.3 or 5x100.

what about swapping the hubs/spindles over from a DC5? If you're not changing the whole rear suspension would that be a viable option?

yeah, the read drum kinda bothers me too.... my 87 integra stops faster than the Fit, and it doesnt even have ABS. all wheel disc, lighter car, w00t!

But hey, you probably *could* swap in some old Acura hardware to get rear disc, not 100% sure. My 'teg is 4x100, so I'm fairly certain that it'd be a doable swap. You'd just have to get I think a check valve to keep the rear brakes from chattering, drum brake equippped cars dont need them, so they usually arent equippped with check valves.

Well if you wanted to go 5 lug why not go all the way & go with the 17s DC5 rims?
