Lug nut thread!

There is no thread discussing lug nuts here?

What does everybody use? Any recommendations, tips, anything? I'm getting rims soon, and would like to pick up some new nuts. Seems like anything on the cheap side (less than 100) is bound to fade or strip. What have people found to work best in terms or security?

Post your lug nut pictures!!

I have the Blox ones, and they have held up verywell and have a good price. I also have a set of kics, they are on my friends car and those are very good as well, but theyre kinda pricey.

you dont use any type of locking nut Chris? The blox do look good, but as I'm parking on the street, I'd kinda like to make anybody trying to take my wheels to have some difficulty.

I have Rays lug nuts and they're fine, but honestly for security you can't beat steel lugs. I've read many accounts of aluminum lugs, including Rays, being soft enough that you can simply pound a standard socket onto the seven sided 'locks', and kiss your rims goodbye.

The Kics have a lock. The blox I believe you can get the lock for them seperate.

right now i'm using the rays lug nuts, which are pretty light. and i'm also using the kokugen(sp?) one's which are alright, just wanted them becuase needed something cheap to use with aftermarket wheels. Mugen one's are nice as well and have a lot of friends using open end skunk2 lug nuts as well.

I'm using McGard spline drive lugs and locks.

McGard makes Honda's OE wheel locks
