New CPB MT 09 Fit Sport armrest questions
Hi i just got my new CPB MT 09 Honda Fit Sport today. I was really excited to finally own one!!!
However, while looking through the manufacturer's brochure, I noticed that the arm rest accessory does not fit in the MT Fits. I see that the MT Fits have a small armrest for the driver already attached to the seats.
I was wondering is it still possible to detached the standard armrest to add the one with the utility storage and slide out support. I was really looking forward to adding one!

It fits. They just said it because it might interfere with shifting and cause an accident if you suck at driving manual. Just for liability reasons. It will fit both AT and MT.
do you know if the optional armrest will interfere with the standard armrest in MT Fits? As in, swiveling the armrest up and down?
Does anyone have pictures of both armrests in the car. I wanna see how much space is in between both.
Also, has anyone ever tried removing the stock armrest will great success?
Thank you for the quick response btw!

I put the armrest/console it my MT Fit Sport along with the T1R short shifter. It's fine. The larger armrest is not really any more in the way of shifting the car than the tiny, nearly useless stock driver's rest is, and it's a lot more comfortable. It also dresses up the interior quite a bit.
I did install the armrest and the shifter at the same time, so I did not have the opportunity to drive the car with the armrest and the stock, longer shifter, but I can't see it being a problem.
