Armrest on Fit Sport Manual Transmission
Armrest on Fit Sport Manual Transmission
I find that I have to put the armrest in the up position while driving in the city as it gets in the way of shifting. Anyone else notice this?
It's Good For:
Highway driving. I went to Disney World yesterday and put it on cruise control. Put down the armrest and it was so much more comfortable than the 2008. Real improvement in comfort but I like the material of the 2008.
yea, i took an overnite trip to vegas and the armrest was heaven for the duration, but usually have it up when i'm running around town. Wow, it's now been a full week since I picked up my 09 and I have 1.4k already! jeez!
This is why Honda will not install the larger center armrest console on the MT Fits.
I'm curious as to how much longer the aftermarket armrest is relative to the stock unit. The aftermarket is wider for sure, but from the pictures it doesn't look like it's longer. Has anyone installed the aftermarket armrest in a MT yet?
I love the stock armrest, and find it is perfectly situated for using the shift knob on my MT. I can rest my elbow on it and hold the shift knob just fine. However, my husband hates it and raises it out of the way when he drives.
So it's not one size fits all... (I'm a little shorter torsoed, so that's probably it).
I'm also looking at the larger center console - looks nice. I thought I read somewhere that they would NOT install it on a MTl however, the installation instructions clearly refer to steps to take if installing on a MT:
