which rims I should keep....

Hi, I just bought another set of rims.
They're replica of Volks TE37. Once I put them on my fit, all my friends think my other set of rim (Rota Boost) looks better.
What do you think? Thanks

Here are the pics of TE37: 16 x 7 +38, Tires 205/45/16.

Personally, I like the Volk knock-offs a little better.

Got to go with the Volk knock offs too. Around where I come from black wheels/tires look like Amish buggy wheels and not popular. Brighter wheels actually set the apart the drab black tire and wheels, and break up the monotone of the wheel area.IMHO I am over 50 so what do I know. LOL

BTW what window vent shield do you have? Reason for depression between doors on them??

I love the look of the rotas. the black and red looks way better. mayber if the te37s were bronze or something but I'm not really into the chrome/ polished rims

In my personal opinion, I would keep the wheels in the first picture if I were you. It looks very descent on your Fit.

If you like the agressive look go with the black - if you want bling and show I'd keep the first ones.

Its all a matter of what image you want to project. Given the 2 choices, the replica Volks T37 would be more appealing, IMHO.

But again, it's his car and what he likes is more important than the different views/opinions he gets.

Have a nice weekend, all!

Hey Beng,
The TE37's really look great, IMO...the black just doesn't do the color of the car justice. Good luck with the decision.

Exactly...yours is one of the few SS's I've seen around here that I actually like the dark colored wheels. Depends on the wheel design and the color.

If the OP's car was red I'd think the black Rota Boosts would look best...

I like dark rims usually but in this case I think the knockoffs look pretty darn cool.
If you keep the knockoffs I say lower the fit just a little more

btw this should be a poll.

just keep both sets. knock off wheels resale value is crap. and if you get a flat or bend a rim on one set, you will have a backup set. stop trying to be a wheel whore and be happy with what you have.
