just take the axleback off! lol i tried it today and it sounds quite a bit better and it's still pretty quiet. about as loud as an Apexi Worldsport 2.

Louder doesn't sound better to me.

Also, I think it's illegal to run a car without a muffler.

I dunno back in the day we called those lawnmowers...lets not do that to the fit yah? its bad enough Honda's have a super riced out reputation with all these idiots who think stickers make their car faster with huge touring wings on a stock height car with altezza everythings...lets keep the fit clean yah?

It actually sounds very very clean without a muffler. Not ricey or lawnmower like at all. Theres a GD in my area running without one and it sounds great.

there's a whole thread in the exhaust section regarding muffler deletes. in my opinion it sounds pretty good seeing as i used to be muffler-less till i got an axleback

I swear I think I might just do this instead of watching everyone in the aftermarket drag ass when it comes to releasing exhausts for us.

:EDIT: What size piping do the GE8s use? I'm nowhere near the Fit right now.

don't do it, I know its sound good I did the same thing when I had my GD but on the GE is different, the exaust is looking up, you will start burning all down there, a friend of mine did it, days later He start smelling like something was burning in his car, so he put the muffler back, and the smell disappear.

The smell was likely from the oils on the pipe left over from manufacturing and his hands. If it's done correctly, there shouldn't be a problem.

you can always run custom piping and a muffler instead of doing this....
