Im not getting rid of my SW20 turbo MR2, or AE86 corollas for that specific reason. Becasue the fit does everything they cant and they do what the fit cant. I think its important to have a quicker weekend car if you can afford to have two cars. It makes you appreciate the high qualities the fit does posses. When it comes time to run errands, road trip, night out 75% of the time Im sure I'll be in the fit.

Dont get me wrong, I like when people engine swap, and sc or turbo their fits and make them genuinly quick. Its just not something I would do since Ive got cars to fill that void.

Long story short. It sounds like you bought into the media hype and blindly went out and bought a car without really asking yourself if you need it. I'll tell you one thing though. You got a really good car by mistake and you certainly could have bought a much worse auto to complain about.
Bravo! Silver bullet to the trolls right here.

Idk why you brought the Fit if you were gonna end up not liking it. Do your homework next time before you buy

Pssh... RSX's are S L O W... I have a Fit because they are all the things mentioned. Plus I don't have to worry about finding a parking spot in a "Compact Only" lot. Its looks great and on the occasional Canyon Run, I at least have a great handling car that won't cost a fortune to get there.

Its an '89, the way you tell is if the car has a Mass Air Meter. Usually 88 and earlier cars aren't good canidates unless you retrofit the updated fuel injection or go Carburated.

From that pictures I've relocated the battery to the back, added water injection and added a vacuume system to the cylinder heads. My last dyno was 510rwhp and 530ft-lbs. Its not a drag racer though, its set up to be an open track machine.

Anyways good luck

If you like cruising around in a Buick, you may end up not liking the Fit.
But I ride motorcycles ans snowmobiles every chance I get, so I appreciate what a jewel the Fit is.

+1 Fit.

Bought my 09 Sport MT last September, and I love it. She's not fast, but she's nimble. I'm not exactly a conservative driver and I still get at least 36MPG.

The DBW lag is my biggest complaint, and it's not really a complaint. More of an observation.

I drive a Buick, and absolutely love my fiancee's Fit! Yeah, my car is way faster in a straight line, but it hates corners like a vampire hates crosses. Now, the Fit loves corners, and gets city mileage better than what my car gets on the highway. Plus it has just as much interior room, is just as comfy, and the ride is just fine, even when compared to my rolling couch.

We researched and test-drove the Fit, Yaris, Cobalt, Focus, Accent, Versa, and a few more cars. Ended up back where we started with the Fit Sport.

Were you drunk when you posted this? Seriously...if you are going to put a rant together at least try and make it substantial. Coherent would be nice as well.

My Fit replaced a truck and a sports car and I couldn't be happier. If you bought yours just to "conform" to a current trend then that's your problem. Sell the damned thing if it's not your cup of tea. Immediate problem solved...can't help you with your lack of research and urges to jump on band wagons.

Have a nice day

In my experience people will cut you off with no signals no matter what you drive because people are just jerks.
