Back in 2007 there was a guy that posted here that had a blue Fit that lived in Athens... I saw him on 175 once or twice, I think he was mainly into interior lighting mods.... I have an appointment in Dallas Monday and Tuesday morning I go to the muffler shop 2 to add on a new resonator and exhaust control valve...

Tyler and Gun Barrel City are about a 40 minute drive from here, Dallas is over 2 hours.... I would love to see that work of art labor of love that Marcus has built up one of these days... The only things I can think of that I have gotten that involved with had only 2 wheels and some of them were bicycles one of which had a carbon fiber frame.... I keep running into things that aren't quite the way I want them on my car and recently it has been getting costly or to damned hot to work on.... Even my dog wants to stay inside.

I will have to do a run to SAM's soon so I will let you know whenever I do..... There is a huge amount of difference in the way it runs now and there is still things sitting around and yet to be ordered that should make even more of an improvement in power output.... The hot weather and need for funding has me moving slowly.

Hi Btrthnezr3!

Super clean looking Fit you got there! I have a couple of questions about your new wheelset - did you end up getting the 16x6.5 or the 16x7? What was your offset on the rims? Any spacers involved? What is your mpg like with your new wheelset? I'm curious because I'm looking into getting lighter wheels but don't plan on lowering my car. I also want to avoid any rubbing, etc.

I've considered getting 15" but since you got the 16", I thought I'd ask you about your wheel specs. I'm a complete noob when it comes to modding a car so any advice would be great. I just bought a GE8 and I'm learning a lot just by reading up on your thread. Keep up the great work and thanks in advaced!

Hey my wheels are 16x7 45mm offset and my tires are 205/50/16's

My mpgs are 38-41 on my daily stuff and a little more if I get on the hwy.

Hope that helps.

the fit sport wheels are pretty light from the get go on the new GE8s. So when it goes to improved mileage you would have to go with a SUPER light weight wheel. Like 16" <11lbs to make a differnce. I wouldn't go anything less than 16" on the new fits. Anything less than that just looks kinda silly. If you get a setup like his, 16x7 anywhere between +50 and +35 would be perfect. the lower the number the further out the wheel will be. But especially if you are not lowering it you will never have to worry about rubbing. In fact the further out you get the further the wheels will be from your inner fender on full lock turn arounds.

They were decals from decaldude.net

I plan on putting red H's on my new wheels also--just haven't had a chance.

Just a thought: After you put the Hs on your wheel's center cap, I think a pin stripe would both compliment the H and give your Rotas a little something extra instead of being completley (flat) black.
