Auto to Manual TRanny

what would i need in order to change my auto tranny to a manual tranny? how much would it cost total?

Alot of money, in the thousands. You will need a transmission, clutch, flywheel, clutch pedal, hydraulic lines, slave cylinder, master cylinder, clutch fluid reservoir, shifter, shift linkage, center console and tons of more random nuts and bolts.

Your better off selling your car and re-buying a new Fit. Make sure you know what you want before you fork over $17,000 on a car.

my dad bought me 09 fit auto tranny cuz he didnt want me driving stick so i guess im stuck with it. oh well. im happy enough i got a new car.

and your dad bought it for you. be happy with that. most of us have to pay for our own vehicles.

and you're learning the value of money. enjoy the lesson!

FWIW, my parents never bought me a video game system, car, or any other large discretionary purchase. They never even kicked in for my car insurance. Not that they couldnt afford it, but they chose not to. Back then, I certainly would have liked them to, but I think it turns out better in the long run for the kid.
