Body kit for Base Fit

I bought a Milano Red Base Fit. I should have gotten the Sport, but its too late now.

I was wondering if I could take the Side skirts and front bumper from a Sport and put them on my Base.

Also, I love the Mugen body kit parts. The dealers say that they only fit 09 Sport fits. Is that true? I also want to know if the Mugen grill will fit on my Base.

I really want my fit to look better than the Base.

Can someone help me figure out what to get? I like the OEM and Mugen parts because I can just get them color matched and not have to paint them.

sport bumpers on base... yes they will fit...

mugen body kit... the front lip is specifically for sports, where as the side skirts and rear bumper should fit on a base....

Aren't the base side skirts the same as the sport?

There are no side skirts on the base.

For the side skirts, will I have to drill holes, or can I just stick em on with 3m?

i wouldnt use 3m for any body panel with some weight... its always best to drill if you dont want them flying off of the car at high speeds...

You do know that many countries don't offer the Sport model, right? The "base" model is the ONLY model. I feel Honda should have given the Base/Basic model a catchy name as a style.

Argentina:

Brazil doesn't have a Sport.

Honda New Fit

The Jazz in Australia has different front ends, side skirts, no rear wing/shade/deflector (what is that thing called???):

Everyone has something a little different. Your car IS different (like my base) from the models shown in other countries. They have things we don't have, we have things they don't have.

One of the biggest changes you could make to help personalize your car would be the Sport Grille, custom painted to match your car. That will set it apart from both base and sport models. Not many people have it.

There's a thread around here somewhere with many images of front ends and some pictures of the Sport Grille body color painted. It looks good!

you should use the proper honda mounting hardware to mount the sideskirts, it is costly, but it will stay on there.
i think the base model looks pretty good stock actually.

How about the Fog Lights? Have those installed.

And the Clazzio seat covers with a red leather center, black sides, red stitching. Or all PVC with the red stitching or even the cross stitching in red on PVC.

The Mugen floor mats. And the Mugen side skirts. Maybe the Mugen rearview mirror cover.
