Will the Mugen Body Kits fit on a Base Fit?

The dealers say they will only fit on the sport. I have an 09 USDM Base fit, and I want to put side skirts, front bumper and a Mugen Grill.

 

Mugen grill will fit because the upper bumper portion is the same. The rear bumper will fit as well because the base and sport rear bumpers are exactly the same. The side skirts, u will have to customize it to make it fit because the mugen side skirts use the oem holes as the fit sport side skirt holes. The base doesn't have these holes so u have to make them urself. If ur handy, i'm sure u can figure it out easily. AS for the front bumper, the base and sport front bumpers are nothing alike. The sport has a built in lip and foglights, and it shaped differently, so u will have to get the sport front bumper and foglights to install the mugen front lip.

Where are the holes for the sideskirts? Are they in the wheel wells? Cause that I can do. I think... heh

Has anyone put sideskirts on there Base Fits?

I would love to put a Sport front bumper and sideskirts.. If I can find em cheap..

 

for all oem locations there are bolts in the wells as well as bolts to brackets underneath.

 

I'm thinking about putting Sport skirts on my Base model. Hopefully it isn't too difficult to fab a few tabs out of sheetmetal or home depot brackets to mount the skirts. Or is it more complicated than that?
