Basic to Mugen Fit

hi Fitfreaks
i was wondering if it was possible to convert the basic fit to the mugen fit exterior wise? do i just need to change the front bumper to the sports model and everything will fit? thanks for your help

I'm about 95% sure I think you need to swap both bumpers...it's going to be very expensive though.

Agreed. I would just wait for more aftermarket options to pop up.

why would you have to swap the rear bumper?

It's the same for base and sport models.

All the Mugen kit body parts are attachments. http://www.collegehillshonda.com/hon...ccessories.htm

It's just the front Mugen body part is designed to fit over the Sport's front bumper which is a different shape from the base and includes an opening for the fog lamps that might not even have been added to the base.

The rear Mugen body part will fit over the bumper of either base or sport (i think you have to remove the corner lip on the bumper either way), because the rear is the same. You can't have the rear splash guards with the Mugen kit (if you had it with the car).

The side Mugen body part (skirts) will require drilling on the Base and removal of the skirt on the Sport. You'll also lose the front splash guards if you had it with the Base Fit.
