Easiest way to warp a rotor is to get the brakes really hot then come to a stop and hold the brake pedal down while they cool. (auto trans is great for this). The rotor will cool at a different rate where the pads are holding it and cause it to warp.

3. Slotted or drilled holes may wear your pads faster.
4. your car isnt a porsche, ferrari, etc and thus generates nowhere near the heat those 'supercars' can. I'm sure you've seen the videos or pictures of their rotors glowing red. On a fit, slotted and drilled rotors are a waste of money and will provide no performance gains.
5. if you can warp a rotor on a honda fit, I'll buy you a new one. More often than not people think they've warped a rotor when, in fact, they are experiencing uneven wear on their pads.
6. Slotted and drilled rotors will make your wallet lighter for no valid reason on our cars.
7. I have drilled rotors on my M Coupe because the previous owner put them on there. I will put Zimmerman Blanks back on if and when they need replaced.
8. Slotted and drilled rotors are bling bling I can't see through my hub caps.
I wish I had taken pictures of it but I went on a downhill run with friends and I drove my fit. We were going down GMR in Southern California and I was following a WRX and BMW 330 and doing tons of accelerating and aggressive braking. When we hit the bottom and stopped to wait for the other group my rotors were glowing red. This was only 15 minutes of aggressive driving.

Wow you must brake a lot. The Fit is not a very heavy car

Yeah cause I was accelerating out of every turn then braking into the corners to keep up with them. Plus it was all downhill switchbacks.

Brakes? What are brakes??? lol.

Have you taken done an autocross or HPDE at all? I think you might be using the brakes too much. Not that you should be testing limits on the street, but if you try one of those events, you'll realize you won't need the brakes that much, lol. Not enough to get the brakes glowing red.

The fire part is funny, but you're running hard enough to get the rotors red-hot, and you're surprised the pads might need to be replaced?

As was advised elsewhere, check 'em yourself and see how much material is actually left on the pads. If the OEM system survives that hard a treatment, it must be pretty decent. FWIW, the guys at Car & Driver did a long term Gen I Fit test (40K miles) and predicted that the linings would last to 100K. Those guys tend to drive 'em like they stole 'em.

ETA- In our Westsylvania mountains, my auto tranny downshifts so much (on its own) that I rarely need the brakes.

My brakes are fine at 13k.
