They can order from any Honda dealer 1,600 Baht per side + Vat. They can send them EMS, but maybe expensive.

I will probably ask my friend if he can ask for me. 3,000 Baht (Thai money) for both sides is a good deal. According to XE.com, 3,000 Baht = $89.00 USD. 1 USD = 33.7340 THB. By the way, I have a 2009 Fit Sport. So its a direct replacement for NA cars?

i actually have a set @ my cousin's shop. The US branch of DEPO actually test fitted on my GE awhile back. Since i have both the real jdm and the depo, its actually a crazy comparison since there's almost no way to tell the difference!!!

I am trying to work something out for you guys.

I know a local supplier of after market car stuff. He may be in a position to get secondhand Original Thai lights.

Anyone interested? Yey or nay. PM me with your e-mail.

I just installed the DEPO ones this afternoon. As I was tightening one of the bolts back onto the car, the entire bolt (from the DEPO taillights) snapped. So now instead of 3 bolts securing the taillights, it is only secured by 2 bolts. I'll pay attention if due to that water will seep into the connection. Otherwise, the fit and finish is excellent. Quality wise, they need to be made with stronger bolts so this won't happen.

Did the bolt actually snap or just pull out from the tail light? This shouldn't happen.

This guy has contacts to get good original secondhand and new Thai Tail Lights.

Give him a bit of time to sort things out and check shipping costs.

He can also fix you up with many other aftermarket parts for your Fit, but do your homework first to make sure the part can install on US & Japanese Jazz/Fit as he doesn't have a US Fit in Thailand to check.

Lek, I'd be interested in that link. but not so much in the second hand parts, rather deal with brand new stuff. I've seen the rsstyle website you posted up a few months back, they got some nice stuff!!!

I love what you've done to your car.

Are we sure the ebay ones posted in this thread are DEPO brand?

Anything on e-bay is Hmmmmm, but my spot lights are Depo Taiwan and I've had no problems with them in the past year.

The guy who's looking into original Thai tail lights also sells all kinds of good aftermarket stuff. He also manufactures perfect ABS plastic body kits, but for the Thai market.

This is where he comes in, when customers come to him for body kits, he will offer them after market tail light with part exchange discount for there old ones if they are in perfect condition. He can then sell them on to you guys.

Shipping cost is the expensive part.

Yeah, that's what I was hinting at.
From what I've been reading Depo's are just as good as OEM's, or close enough.
My gripe is that the ebay ones listed don't say what brand they are, and after shipping they cost the same as real JDM Honda ones; in that case i would just buy the real ones.

That's the problem, some parts will work others wont due to the slightly different design for the US. I wish I could get the one of the JDM front grills, and those projectors I've seen from the Thai site, but front end is a no go

That's true also shipping from Thailand is killer, maybe we can do a bulk buy or something.

Like I said " If he can buy secondhand lights cheap enough the overall cost won't be too bad".

Let's wait and see next week about shipping cost. I don't want to make a problem for him. He's a busy man. He'll do this as a favor for me to help guys in the US who are in love with Thai tail lights.

There is also one problem, everone wants stuff, but when you setup a deal 90% back out.

Here is a picture of my DEPO taillights installed. Plug and play with no modification! As much as I love genuine stuff, I wasn't about to dish out a fortune for shipping. Anyhow, I'll be going to Thailand within the next couple years. Enjoy!
