eBay GE Non-LED JDM Tail light replicas

hello!

I was wondering if anyone has picked these up?

09-10 Honda Fit / Jazz JDM tail lights lamps GE:eBay Motors (item 370256614256 end time Sep-16-09 14:34:03 PDT)

I was going to buy them but found out they weren't OEM, which made me iffy, so I was wondering if any of you had input? Any responses would be appreciated, thanks!

I bought what looks like the same set, but from a different seller. If it is, they should be manufactured by DEPO. I'll let you know how the install goes.

Search the Thai Jazz/Fit websites for secondhand JDM's, for like $50 or offer a swap with someone. They fit perfectly apart from the backup light bulb holder which can be bought in the US for $4.

Just place a wanted ad in English. http://www.hondajazzlover.com/forum/index.php?board=5.0

or http://www.hondajazzlover.com/forum/...nguage=english

I changed my OEM Non-LED JDM Tail lights for these LED's.

I've actually had some email dialogue with the guy....

he said "they are not JDM, but the quality is top notch".....

I'm hesitant, but I really want to buy them.

Lek: Thanks for the idea! I will certainly give it a try if I don't get these ones on eBay.

Wopasaurus: Ahahaha I too had some dialogue with the person and he said, "These are high quality after market, not some cheap knock offs."

I did some research and messaged people that have bought the same tail lights before and here are there responses: "
I had a problem with the wire harness. The lights are "moved" to new positions with these lights and I had to lengthen the wires in the car which was a pain and you better do a good job. Other than that the lights have not fogged up and they fit perfect"

Here's another: "
hi-They are aftermarket (Depo brand i think) but they fit well. The only issue i had was on the passenger side, you have to pull hard on the wires (scary) to get enough slack so the connectors stays plugged into the new lights. I managed to pull enough slack so they now are fine with no issue...but it took a few times doing it. The lights do look good, I assume you are looking at the JDM style honda fit ones?"

It seems they are good enough quality to the point where they won't fog up but I don't know, I'm still iffy because I don't want tail lights that can be obviously pointed out as fakes. :/ I guess unless someone can confirm they look virtually identical to the real JDM ones I don't think I can pull the trigger on them.

Does it really matter if they are or are not fakes? They are essetially aftermarket lights, of reasonable quality. if you like the way they look then buy them, but if you think that the JDM lights are far superior and are somehow worried about being labeled a posser or something because your lights aren't real jdm then spend more money and quit bitching.

I saw them too, and thought about them for a second. But for $250 shipped (same exact price) you could have gotten the real Honda JDM ones instead. (Sold out now)

https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/sale...-set-only.html

In my opinion at that price you'd be better off doing a swap like Lek said, or try to find the real ones (same or about the same price anyway) you could email AJR, or japanparts, or jdmland or some other JDM importer (the part #'s are on the sticky thread at the top of this forum), or just wait till Dave (JDM_DOHC_SiR) gets back I'm sure he'll be able to get more... that's just what I'd do (and probably will), instead of buying the ebay ones.

Honestly man, don't really need your dick remarks in this thread. $200+ is a lot of money, just want to invest it well so if you have any problems with that get out of my thread.

I telephoned Honda Thailand and they will not export to the US. You must pick them up from the dealer.

I know it's a lot ask but I was wondering if you could do us all a huge favor and maybe pick them up from a dealer and ship it to us here?

Here you go:

09-10 Honda Fit / Jazz JDM tail lights lamps GE:eBay Motors (item 370256614256 end time Sep-16-09 14:34:03 PDT)

Dig deep in your wallet and they will be there in 7 days.

I think shipping from Thailand is very expensive.
