Edmunds wasn't able to get an improvement in their times with break torque. However, I'd love to drop in a high stall torque converter, trans cooler, and new differential (trans axle) gears for shiggles.

No kidding. Not to mention he bumped a thread that hasn't been touched in over 8 years just to post that nearly unintelligible rant. AND the OP, whom he was replying to, hasn't been active on the forum in 2 years.

Sigh.

I think he's saying that he did zero research and didn't take a test drive before buying, what is apparently, the wrong car for him.

Well, who doesn't!?! Unfortunately, the "get out of jail free" cards seem to only work in Monopoly.

Well it’s ten years worth of discussion, it must be authoritative now right??

Of course that also suggests it takes over ten years to add horsepower, so maybe not exactly “fast”.

Hi all,

I'm brand new here and haven't actually purchased a Fit yet, but I've really liked them since they came out in the mid-00's. I realize this thread is over 10 years old and hasn't been touched in almost a year.

I have read the full thread and I figure intake, exhaust and wheels/tires are the cheapest way to get a marginal amount of power. I understand this and it makes sense.

A question I thought of, would doing a dual exhaust (not just a deal exhaust tip) make an even bigger difference?

Thoughts?

I've attached a picture of the Fit that I am thinking of buying.
