rearview mirror removal Honda Fit

I ordered just ordered a Gentex mirror with outside temp. gauge and I am seeking instructions for the safe removal of the existing mirror. James

There's a DIY in the interior section.

The base stays on the glass and you pry the outer plastic off. The plastic come off with the mirror.
