I used JB weld to attach the solar lids to the projector.

Thanks for the good words guys, I really wanted the OEM look and I think I got it! I do have quite a few hours in this job, thats for sure. Not counting looking online for parts, etc., as that's really the only way to come across steals like I found ($40 for a pair of FX35s!!) The actual time of opening, cutting, aligning, painting was about 8 hours, but this is my first retro. I probably had 3 hours in wiring, but I wanted it all to look OEM. Ballasts are mounted under the lights, and Toyotas are waterproofed so no worries there, which is good since this is my daily, I have a Miata in the garage for fun times...

I saw matt0807 Fit up close and his job is tight. Very clean and as if it came like that from factory. Great job!

Very good job with the Retro, sometime in the future I'll like send my headlights out for a retrofit. Really not keen on doing it myself.

They look 100% OE, and it blends very well with the chrome housing. The cutoff looks great too, and I'm sure night drive is a 1000% better!

Appreciate the comments. Having the HIDs over the winter has been great!
