Hook up your harness and mount your ballast.

At this point check your horizontal alignment!!!!!! And your connections, otherwise test everything...

Seal them up I did 250 and 8 min but everyone has a different idea on this one.

Low beam and high beam output pics from 25 feet. The parking lot was on a slight slant, and the hot spots above the high beam are glare off of the shield... They are a tad wider then the pic there was a dumpster to my left

Koi - Its not as hard as everyone thing it is. Truthfully the hardest part is just opening up the headlight. The glue on these damn headlights are crazy tight. But after that its easy sailing.

Agreed! Sticky glue that is hard to come off if you get it on anything!

It came out good there! Took me a few tries to get it lined up on my GE with the same setup. Still tweaking mine here and there when I have time to get the rotation perfect.

Yeah the hardest part is getting them open, after that it is cake. Thanks sometimesjoe... I would love to have some Orsam CBI's but they are around $200 and are not in the USA yet. It is rumored when released in the USA they will be Silverstars, 5000k very little color shift and 3400 Lumens. The Morimoto bulbs are nice though but no aftermarket bulbs can compete with OEM...

Wait till TRS come out with their new Morimoto line. The bases look like Phillips. I'm using 85122+ and I'm pretty happy with the performance. I'll wait for the output shots of the new Morimotos and get them as backups.

There's just something about putting the headlights in the oven that I feel iffy about, but if I'm confident working on much more integral parts of the car myself then I don't see why I can't do this. Just need the cash as usual

How do those 4300k bulbs look in person? Clean white or more towards yellow?

4300 should have a slight hint of yellow, but I like that 5000k would be pure white

question though, what could I use to add more sealant when I put the lights back on? I've taken my headlights off once to paint the bezel black, but now it leaks

Koi - What I would do is set your oven for 350 degrees and put the headlights in for 4-5mins. Take them out and try to pry them open. If you can't do the first time put the headlights in the oven for 1-2 minutes. It takes a lot to melt the headlight. As long as your careful it should be fine.

To add to what danger said make sure none of your brackets are touching the rack and work with the lens down while opening... The brackets are real easy to bend and break!!!! Ask me how I know lol

i would also say turn off the oven while the headlights are in! just heat it up to yuor perferred temp and shut it off, the last thing u want are melted headlights!
