Ok i found this locking gas cap online for cheap(1.99). I assume it would not be advisable to replace the orig with this 1. I really dont like the idea of someone easily from the outside opening my gas cap. i guess im paranoid

 

you can buy one from honda too.

The Honda locking gas cap that fits the 2009 Fits is part # 17680-SAA-G00 it's from the Element, it looks a little big but it fits.

jus got my locking gas cap. damn...i shoulda researched it better. never knew it came with a regular sized key. oh well...time to find a good locksmith to rekey this cap.

 

I haven't verified this but the saleperson that I purchased my fit from mentioned that I didn't need a locking gas cap since there is a screen that would prevent any hoses from reaching the fuel.
