Edmund's - Fit is no brainer

...not only when compared to a Yaris or Cube, but any car in the class:

I can't get my head around the bizarre design of that Cube. It looks like a messed up mini Element.

some of the comments are right tho... they should take price into consideration with all of the cars.. not just the more expensive ones

What is this garbage in the comments section?

-The Fit is a very good car - but in my experience, the rear seats are like wooden benches, and the "sportiness" is really a perception caused by the stiffer ride (bigger rims), and the tendency of certain Honda cars to let more road noise in the car. For actual econobox uses? The Fit & Versa are pretty much indistinguishable.

If thats true (bigger rims making for a sportier ride), man, those ghetto trash cars lifted with 22in rims must be the sportiest things around

I think the Fit is a nice blend of elements. I'm suprised that Toyota has a supercharger for the Yaris (Blitz) and the GE does not. Plus the Fit is something like 300+ lbs heavier. If honda could make that weight a wee bit less or put the wonderful 1.8L into the fit.

Take it easy

I find it interesting that Honda's only small hatchback (aka the Fit) competes with so many cars from so many manufacturers. For example, Fit compete's with three Toyotas (Yaris, Matrix, Scion xD and maybe even xB), two Nissans (Versa and Cube), two Kias (Soul and Rio 5), etc. Honda has done a great job of consolidating their engineering and manufacturing costs into this single very competitive car.
