well it depends:

if it's $6,000 im guessing its a salvaged title, meaning the frame is bent...and from the looks of it, it seems like it.

so lets say you buy it for $6000...plus registration and going through the dmv making sure this is a "safe" care..probably another $500. so $6500. and you're gonna add approx. $3000 to fix it (sorry, im not expert..maybe more or less)...but given the fit's made in japan parts and being relatively new...i would say it is pretty pricey for parts.

so you're looking at almost $10k afterwards. this is a base fit...im pretty sure you can get a clean title, new base fit for $14k at the dealer.

The reason i say this depends is because...if you plan on reselling the car..then fork out that extra money and get a new one with a clean title, color that you like, etc. and $4000 over 5 years on finance isn't too much per month.

BUT if you plan to drive this car till it dies..then by all means go for it. if you have all the cash to fix it and not have monthly payments then go for it. BUT if you do end up with monthly payments through a bank for this car..then i rather have monthly payments for a BRAND NEW fit.

and honestly, people say the fit isn't "safe" brand new...why make the situation worst with a salvaged title car since the structure has already been damaged...

Looks like a fairly easy fix but it's not cheap enough to repair and flip. If you could have the whole thing back together for 6-8k it might be worth doing. The mileage means absolutely nothing now that it's got a salvaged title unless you plan to keep it.
