Introducing Myself!

Hey! im new here and new to the honda fit world
I bought my honda fit three months ago, and i have been loving it!

I've been having doubts about the little motor, cause im surrounded by mazda 3 2.5L, dodge caliber 2.0L, nissan altima 2.0L... but i love my little car, the interior, the usb port and the gas economy!

Im currently looking to have my windows tinted. Next on the list is some interior lighting. I bought those rubber straps to change my map lights color to blue. I want also to put some lights under the steering wheel and on the passenger side as well. After this I want a performance upgrade... i am looking into the intakes, but it seems they dont affect the horsepower that much. any suggestions there?

well, here I leave some pics of my fit, it's still very much stock, but it wont stay that way for long!

**Sorry the images didn't upload correctly (:

welcome

I think there are some turbo/supercharger kits in the works....I don't know anything about specifically but if you search for either you might find something about that in the forum.

the T1R exhaust looks like it'll give you a little boost in performance for a reasonable cost, but it won't be something to take your breath away.

Nice looking Fit! The little motor will loosen up a bit as it breaks in. The PRM intake actually gives a decent gain. Welcome!

With the size of the Fit, I'd say 1 10" would be more than enough. I'm planning on installing either 1 or possibly 2 but that's because I've got them (2 kappas) and the Amplifier laying around (and I'll probably be doing a free-air configuration). Are you sticking with the stock Head unit or looking at replacement? Remember that your bass will only be as good as your head unit so if you are sticking to the stock HU, chances are the only difference you'd see between (1) 12" and (1) 10" will be the amount of money in your wallet. If you are considering adding moderate bass (not something window shattering), check out the Infinity Basslink. It's an all-in-one solution that is budget friendly. It's also easily removable for when you need to pack the car full. Either way, some of your money will want to go into sound deadening material. Also set aside some extra money for fixing rattles. The fit is an inexpensive car... corners needed to be cut somewhere and adding a Subwoofer will show you exactly where.
