squeaking noise coming from the rear?! crackling noise in the tweeters

anyone experienced this on their fit? it's very annoying its some squishy squeaky noise. I'm unable to locate it. I can only hear it when I'm driving just noticed in the past few days.

Also hear some crackling noise from my front tweeters when im playing music with high notes. They're less than a year old does that mean they blew?

Is the noise your springs?

Sound. You have change the sound system so yes maybe you did blow them.

Where did you get your HKS exhaust? I am looking for a place in the TO area to get one. What did you pay? Thanks

squeaking noise

At 80,000 miles, my '07 Fit developed an excruciating squeaking noise, coming from the rear of the car. It comes and goes, with no discernible pattern. Sometimes its gone for months. When it starts up, it's a constant chattering squeak, as soon as the car is going 35mph or higher. Incredibly irritating, and I've yet to pinpoint the source.

Overall, I have to say that I'm unimpressed with the Fit, in regards to fit and finish of the interior. Lot's of rattles, squeaks, and driving noise. Both driver and passenger sides, have holes worn into the 'carpeting', despite the fact that I have floor mats.
I realize Honda was trying to keep the price at entry-level status, but I'd rather pay a bit more, not to have such issues.

Recently rode in my nephew's '04 Mazda 3, and that car felt tighter than my Fit, despite being three years older.

Any luck with identifying and solving your problems?

This sub forum is for the GE8 Fit. I haven't owned a first generation Fit to personally validate but according to Honda info the GE8 redesign addressed many issues you listed. I can say that my '09 with 43K miles has none of your issues and I am extremely impressed overall with this car considering its versatility and economy.

Also you need to compare apples to apples. Mazda 3 is in another price class.
2004 Mazda3 5 door..$17,105 MSRP
2007 Mazda3 5 door..$17,680 MSRP
2007 Honda Fit.........$13,850 MSRP
