Impossible to find 2009/10 Tafetta White Sport MT?
Wow, finished dinner two hours ago and I'm still stuffed. I don't want to look at turkey again until next year.
Anyway, there is no such thing as a bad color for the Fit, they are all nice. Sure, everyone has their preferred color, but sometimes if you're looking for a car with a special trim level, which the Fit with navigation is, then you need to be a little more flexible on the color choice. My first color choice was blackberry pearl and I ended up with white because there was no car with that color and manual trans/navi within a 1,000 mile square radius. So, I took what I could get. If I had been super picky about color I would probably be sitting here typing this up without Fit in my parking lot.
Like I said, all the colors for the Fit are nice. It's not like you can get stuck with some puke green or bright gold color. Honda should be commended for offering such a nice palate of colors. The OP needs to decide what's more important, being super picky and waiting God knows how long, or getting another color with the options he is looking for now. I mean honestly the exterior color is nice and all, but where do you spend all your time, right, sitting INSIDE the car and driving it. And guess what, we all have black interiors no matter what color we get.

I think the biggest reason it is so hard to find Taffeta White in manual form is because they don't even offer that here in Japan. They have the color of course, but not in any of the 1.5 liter engine models, only the 1.3 G gets it. I purchased mine in white, it is the Premium White Pearl, which cost me another $350 over the other colors besides Premium Deep Violet and Premium Yellow, but I wanted the Fit to somewhat remind me of my old 5R Integra which was Championship White. They are similar, but of course different. JapanColors not sure why I'm even posting the link, but thought maybe somebody out there is curious what is available in the Fit's homeland.
You would think HofA would be letting Honda know that TW seems to be sought after more than the other colors. Does it come down to the dealers and what they order, I would think yes. Who knows, maybe Honda here in Japan just allocates numbers to HofA and then the dealers in the US start placing orders based on allocation from Japan. I know no matter what, here in Japan you don't walk out the door the same day you purchase, at least for me back in 2003 when I purchased the IntegraR it took almost 3 months before delivery and the Fit this time is taking about 7 weeks. Then again, maybe other manufacturers are slightly different here, but that is the good thing about Japan and their car dealers here, they are not over filling their lots and then needing to drastically cut prices when they aren't selling cars and then later asking for Government handouts because they are broken.

bottom right white one has side markers... me wants them. Well with about a week behind the wheel, I can definitely say I am happy with my TW 5spd. It came with lame looking pinstripes on it but a blow dryer and a little goo gone took care of that. Its so big, white, and cute, I decided to name it Marshmallow.
I'd like to chime in and say it took me 2 months of chatting with every dealer in a 50 mile radius to get a TW 2009 Fit Sport Manual back in Sep-Oct 08 (for MSRP).
Though, I also had the luck to run into a model with Navigation/VSA, and with Honda dropping the availability of a Fit Sport w/ Navi in manual for 2010, I kinda got a unicorn

damn, epoch,.. i was trying to be as lucky as you were but to no avail. i was crushed when the dealer told me 2010's navigation models had to be had with the auto.. lol... but after about 5 days of my local dealer looking they located me a 2010 and i shoud be picking it up tomorrow night. for those who cant find one, expand your search. seems like some areas have more than others.

lol.. sounds like a hassle... i've bought two other hondas, a 08 fit, and a 09 civic ex (gf's car), so they take care of me.. gettin a couple hundred off msrp, and a few accessories for free.. and its 10-15 miles away from my house! but until he called me with the good news, i was doing my own searching on the web and making fone calls, so i feel your pain. cant wait to pick it up!
Just arrived to LA in my white 2010 fit manual. Cruises great on the highway. 800 miles on the odometer from Albuquerque, NM. Slept in the hatch in the desert, was freezing cold outside. The hatch can't be opened from the inside? That's sux. Also the light near the hatch door can't be turned on without opening the hatch?
Got 41 mpg going between 60 and 70 mpg. Just installed wheel locks, paid 40$ for them from my brother who works at a honda dealer.
Now what do I do to damn protect it from LA thieves? I am looking for a big wrap steering wheel lock...
