My vote would be for the PRM as well because of the gains. The three you listed will have the same amount of increase in power (less than the PRM) so Pick whichever either fits your budget best or whichever you think looks the best.

Takeda... with a "D"
takeda air intakes and filtration
Check out the dyno video on their website of the Fit. I have no idea if the sound is similar to other intakes but it's very deep and badass sounding... for a 1.5 liter engine.

Ok, I've been here awhile but maybe I just didn't pay attention to this. Where's the proof that the PRM intake gives the best gains? It's just a short ram with an inverted filter.
They didn't even grammar check their home page. How can I trust them to pay attention to detail with respect to their engineering?
Weapon-R has always seemed gimmicky. The website uses nearly nude models to capture your attention. They have an illustration of their Secret Weapon "dual-flow" technology but a disclaimer on the side says not all intakes actually use it.
I don't know about Injen. Their site is not even working for me right now.
That leaves Takeda, which has a nice, simple site. It's professional and easy to use. And it has a picture of a real nice Fit on the front page! Also, for what it's worth Honda Tuning Magazine uses the Takeda intake on their project Fit. On their website they also include pictures, videos, dyno graphs, instructions, and dimensions of the intakes.

haha i like this man.. EXACTLY, where is the proof of the gains? a CAI is a CAI.. manufactures can claim all they want, but the gains will be not be the same for every car anyways. atleast Takeda has it dynoed.. DYNOED so its wheel horse power comparison.

Also, the PRM I've read from other fit freaker's is very loud. I think of the brands you listed above will be great. The wife has promised me the Injen for christmas (i told her it's what I needed!). Being the impulsive person i am I'll have it installed the 25 or is not then atleast by the morning of the 26th. I'll post back with feedback at that point.
There is also the K&N, which isn't on your list above. It's in the same price range and I've read that it's a vast improvement over the version for the GD's (which people on here has said was crap). Any of them will be great though. Like you said above an intake is an intake. The technology is all the same. A manufacturer might claim 1 or 2 more horsepower to get a competive selling edge on the competition, but are you going to feel the difference? No. I did check out the Takeda video as stated above. It does sound pretty bad ass, but I've read from others that the CAI made by Injen is well designed/thought out and has a similar deep throaty tone. I can't wait to hear it with my T1r exhaust I just ordered!
To each their own. Do your reasearch, listen to sound clips and choose the design you like the best.

Good review of intake manufacturer advertising methods and website design...... Back on topic: which intake performs the best? I don't have time to link everything for you, but from what I have seen PRM had the most gains. At one point or another, the owner of PRM has posted pictures, videos of dyno's/dyno graphs, action videos, instructions, dimensions, and there are quite a few user reviews from personal experience with PRM on FitFreak as well. Although it would be nice if PRM added all of this info to their site, overall they have excellent product support; just give them a call and they will answer any specific questions you may have, the rest can be found right here on FitFreak.
Since we don't have that data, the only thing non-subjective we can use for comparison is company professionalism.
It's great that "from what you have seen" PRM has the most gains. That's very scientific.
I'm not bashing PRM. I was actually requesting non-subjective third party test evidence. It's right there in my first sentence.
Yes back on topic indeed. The only way to compare is via third party dyno graphs. I thought that was so obvious I didn't need to post it. Apparently I was wrong.

i too am a fan of how Takeda has gotten things done.. No insain marketing claims, and no advertising propaganda to trick people into thinking their product is better than another. They seem like the most fair company out of the others.
Thanks guys
I have the Takeda intake on my Fit. I like it, it's *relatively* quiet under normal relaxed driving conditions. It only gets a bit louder under full throttle as you get up into the middle rpm range. It is a good sound for a 1.5 l engine, and it makes the car feel altogether racier.
Good choice...

lol, everyone is so eager to drop $200 - $300 on a CAI. Where are the brave folks out there hacking together one from a stock airbox. I've been meaning to for a long time, just haven't ordered the part of the airbox which has the MAF tube yet (~$30 on bernardi parts). What i'm picturing is: Engine>coupling>straight tube>coupling>Dremeled Out MAF Tube>coupling>S curve or 30 degree bend pipe>coupling>Whatever your favorite cone filter happens to be. Overall cost should be under $100.
