What did u drive prior to ur Fit?

Just a quick inquiry. Was your previous ride(s) similar to the Fit or something totally different, like a SUV.

Please add any additional comments if u wish

Loved that car, i even miss it sometimes. But, my Fit is the perfect compromise between practicallity and fun.

'97 Odyssey (1st gen). The Fit is a mini-odyssey. Sorry that's probably a turn-off, but it's true.

2001 Focus ZX3 5-speed. Loved that car except for the maintenance costs from having to replace lots of stuff.

1993 Escort Wagon 5-speed. That car was bulletproof and held a ton inside. Only 88 hp, but surprisingly ok to drive with the stick.

2003 Acura RSX Type S. It was a great car, but the Fit is a lot easier to live with on a daily basis.

'95 Merucy Cougar. It was a great car in it's day, but by 2009 it was done- even if I was in some sort of loyal denial. That loyalty almost held me back from doing C4C to get the Fit. But the very day I drove my Fit home from the dealer I was in love. And a couple of weeks later I got by the painful thought of the fate of my poor Cougar.

Interesting list - keep it up - I forgot to mention our other current vehicle is an 06 nissan xtrail

Strange most of us had bigger vehicles in the past

I drove a 2003 Hyundia Sonota
Great ride but not as fun to drive as my 2009 Blackberry Pearl Sport. The only thing I,ve done to it was add an armrest so far.Had it since 08/2009 6,600 miles & no complaints.

Pre Fit vehicles in order of purchase date:

88 Chevy Astro Van - not daily driver, clunkered it to get $4500 off the Fit
93 Ford Escort Wagon 5-speed - daily driver, still going strong, now my winter car
86 Mazda 323 4-speed base model - sold it before it rusted away
81 Chevy Chevette 4-speed - got totaled while I was stopped at a traffic light
73 Ford Pinto AT - engine bad, sold it to "upgrade" to the Chevette

Not a sedan in the bunch. Astro and Pinto were bought used. I hope the Fit holds up as good as the Escort has.

Prior to the Fit, I had my Grandmothers 1993 Chevy Corsica w/55K miles..oh, and my 1960 Willys Pick-up..i shouldn't have sold it but got a Wrangler to replace it.
