Hi,

I've installed a HU today and seem to be having static on both analog and HD stations. I don't have static if I listen to cd's or ipod, only radio. My stock radio sounded good but I decided to have a nav so I switched. I installed the Jensen VM9022 + NAV 102. Can I fix the static, it's driving me crazy.

Check your ground connections and ask the mods to move this over to the audio & electronics portion of the forum. It'll probably get a quicker answer over there.

don't the fits have powered antennas?
if so you will need to hook up the blue wire
on your HU to get clear reception.
I ran into this on my Toyota so i would doubt
it's the same here.
