13's will not fit... 14's may need a spacer... just stick with 15's or 16's

sorry to hear that tho =( this makes me kinda nervous cuz i live in a bad neighborhood..
I was thinking the same thing... who the hell would go through the trouble of stealing these? They're not snazzy, not brushed or polished alloy. Just painted, generic looking wheels. They basically look like hubcaps without the stamped steel behind them.

Snap-on Makes the Lug-nut remover. works just like there was no lock on there at all. It grabs and just comes off. You can google for it to see it. It's expensive though, These Semi-pro thieves will get the wheels if they want them. Having the locks, I have them, will just detour the guy trying to get an easy score. I don't think the thief wants to rummage through the car to look for the Lug-key. The garage is the best place..

Then why do some cars with their wheels stolen that have wheel locks have a broken window?

Those Gorilla locks look good. It'll detour more thieves to look elsewhere.
I suppose most people would keep the key in the kit that is stuffed in the spare tire well or the glove compartment. Maybe the seat pocket would be a good place or velcroed to the bottom of the seat..

I recommend in the spare tire well for a few reasons. It's near the jack & lug wrench, to get under the back floor, you have to open the hatch to get to it which means if the factory alarm is set, it'll sound, and it's not rolling around in your glove compartment.

Why not just keep the key to the wheel locks on a key ring with the key for the car?

I probably went a little overboard, but I use 4 different sets of wheel locks 2 Honda and 2 Gorilla, hidden in 4 different places of the car and I have steeles in my garage for just in case.

Because it's not a traditional key, it's a special socket specifically made to fit the design of the individual locking lug nut. Even if there were a way to attach it to a key ring it'd be like carrying a D battery on your keychain.

You can always carry a "man purse" and put it in there.

I have a small pouch ("messenger bag"), not sure if you'd call it a man purse. Its kinda big, but it does get some good use.

2009 Fit Sport. All 4 stock tires and wheels stolen last night. one side of car is resting on concrete blocks. The other side fell off the jacks that they used so its resting on the rotors. 3 other Fit's hit the same night in the same neighborhood. So they got 16 wheels and tires in one night. Bastards!! Dealer quoted my insurance over 3K for stock replacements. Wheels are $450 each not even including TPS and center caps! Insurance is mailing me a check for the 3K for me to put wheels and tires back on the car so I can drive the car back to dealer to fix body trim damage that the punks did!

PS. I just bought the Chicane Traklite Hyper black rims off wheel fire. Total came to $1100 with wheels, tires, and shipping. $3300 minus $1100 minus $500 deductible so Im not quite as mad as I was this morning. Still going to have to get the TPS installed on the wheels, and have insurance pay for the lower body trim damage on the car. Hopefully no damage to the rotors from falling off the jack on one side.

I've never seen a persons property that needed to be stolen but have seen a lot of people that needed to be shot.... A Texas lawman said that.

I do have full insurance coverage, as well as HondaCare, however here comes the predicament: HondaCare's agents will not tow my car to the closest dealer for replacement without four wheels on the car (or shall I say they will tow my car, but I was advised by the tow truck guy that it will destroy the undercarriage and I would have to sign a damage waiver). All the local dealers don't have any Fit rims in stock (Sport or otherwise); so I can't go that route either.

So given the above I only have one option, get four donuts to put on the car to get it to the dealer. All the local dealers don't have donuts in stock (only rims) so I'm thinking of hitting up junk yards tomorrow looking for donuts.

Here is the question for the forum; does it make a difference what donuts I get for the car as long as its a 4 bolt pattern? I called one junkyard today which told me that had nothing that would fit a Fit, which makes me think that I need a specific pattern. Is that the case, and if so what is the pattern I need? Anyone have any suggestions to getting to the dealer?

Thanks everyone, and be sure I will be buying after-market wheel locks for the rims after this incident (supposedly around this area the stock wheel locks have been opened and stolen as well).

Have you checked the for sale section ? I put some very nice 17" set of 4 with almost new tires for $550.
