I am by no means an expert on this, but I do know that HIDs aren't exactly cheap (as per your ebay links), and you get exactly what you pay for with kits like these...

You should do a search for HIDs in these forums...there are a crapload of threads on this matter already.

Check with Guinness, he might have a couple HID's kits that he hasn't sold yet from his group buy.

I don't know the legality of HID kit usage in PR, but the laws of physics have no borders. I'd recommend doing some reading on HID capsules in halogen assemblies...

Daniel Stern Lighting Consultancy and Supply

Long story short, the illumination pattern will change, it may cause excessive glare for other drivers, and the additional light/lumen output from HID's may actually hamper night vision by making the near-field too bright, thus reducing your ability to see things in the distance.

well basically the reason for wanting to put the HID is because i wan to put some smoked tints on my headlights but with the halogen lights it will reduce the visibility... so yeah... also, I live on a rural place where there is low lighting and there are some drug dealers right next to my home so it would love some HID for better visibility =P
