how can't i like it? We've (in america and canada) added over a foot in extensions for the front and rear of the car... of course this is going to have some negative affects on the intended looks of the car. They can add sharp lines and style it up to cover up the added bulge, but when you catch the view angles where that can't help.. it's pretty ugly and noticable. That's why i cant ever think about getting a rear trunk garnish thing that alot of people get. I already have a fat "mugen style" rear lip so adding the garnish will just result in a super fat rear end in a tiny little car.

that + it is lilaznphatboy's car and money and we are still a somewhat free country. From a purist stand point, what he is doing is pretty cool. Sometimes this forum is too anal, too negative.
I actually am pretty much through with passing on what has proven to work for me. Basically some all to self important azz clown no mater what will come and say "that's stupid, that does not make any power"

anyway, niiiice mod, I look forward to the pics!

LOL! yea honestly i don't really care what people think about the JDM front end. Im putting it on cuz i like it. It just sucs that people have to be so negative about what people do to their cars.

btw, im not even done with the exterior mods. MORE TO COME....probably in the summer. With the JDM front, im now open to a lot more different grills, lip kits, and hoods. i don't mind paying extra for the shipping and as you can see, i am a patience person. i ordered all these parts back in august n just received these items recently. I want my car done right and i am posting on this forum just so that those that want to, can appreciate what i am doing.

Lol yea, some FIT drivers aren't as energetic about mods as even Ford Focus drivers. However, by doing the JDM swap, I'm sure many drivers down the road will appreciate you being one of the first to show it can be done. I'm really not one to give people a hard time about their mod's (except those damn PNP HID lights )

You know that the airbags deploy on a front end collision, therefore the collision sensor must be very close to the front bumper. Do your plans also include swapping in a JDM airbag sensor?

Your vagina is bleeding and making a mess all over this thread.

Last I checked you can still AIM headlights. The impact violations are nowhere near as bad as the people who remove their front bumper supports to run a FMIC.

Airbags deploy via accelerometers. Frontal airbags are a last resort. They deploy with such force that manufacturers only want them to go off if the car experiences strong enough deceleration to slam the occupants' bodies against the wheel or dash. An impact alone does not warrant the deployment of airbags.

Don't think you will need that as your wipers are not changing position. beangrower the wipers wipe from the other direction on the right-hand drive models.
