I've also been debating on getting these lights as well! Pics when you get them for sure! I want to see how bright they are compared to the depo led tails!

I'd like to see a side by side comparison with one stock usdm taillight and then one of the led taillights installed and the brake lights lit up! Maybe with a pic at night and a pic in the daytime!

quick pik of hardcore daylite and just parking lights on, no brakes. Trust, when you hit the brakes, its friggin bright!

(psst, they're fs along with oem jdm base tails and depo clones!!! the depo's are uber clean and unless you take them off, you really can't tell! trust me, i RnD'd them )

The tails you're showing are different than the ones I posted... those some in this thread have ordered.

Honda Fit Spec-D Tuning LED Taillights - LT-FIT09GLED-TM by Spec-D Tuning

Your LEDs are deep red. These are obviously a grey smoked variety... I don't see a lot of red in them.

Curious, where did you get the ones on your ride? (If that is your ride) I like both of them... I'm curious about those you're displaying though. My Fit hasn't come in yet. I'm planning while waiting... I don't really care for the stock USDM tails. Not bad... but there are obviously better ones to be had.

Thanks

BTW, great-looking ride.

Maybe you're right. I just Photoshopped it and brightened the tails... they look more like those I posted. I think I see the little round reflector on the bottom corner too.

If so, they really do look good.

they are the same, its just the lighting of the camera/picture, maybe one of the pictures had a flash to make it look brighter

if you want to know what they should look like, here is some better pics of the tails

Hey thanks, Jook! Yeah, it was just that the top half of the tails looked a lot more red than they do in those retail pics. Plus, like I said, I couldn't see that small, round reflector in the bottom section.

Definitely great-looking tails!

Something else for me to spend money on! This forum is hard on the wallet!

its really easy to change the taillights on GE8
basically you pop the plastic covers to access the bulbs, unplug the 3 harness, and there will be 3 bolts holding it, undo those 3 bolts (careful not to drop the bolts or you will have to take apart the interior panels to find them) and remove the tails, and install the new tails

Cool! I found a place in Taiwan that sells these lights! I'm going to see if they have some in stock! They have 4 configurations of these tailights red/clear,red/clear/smoked,clear/smoked,and clear! The brand on these tailights are "Junyan"!

I was thinking about picking up the red/clears and then putting a light smoked vinyl film on the clear part to keep the chrome from being so shiny! A little off topic! I was also thinking about picking up a set of these reflectors:

What do y'all think?
