Any high-stall torque convertors out there?
I've posted about this in another thread but I thought I should starts new
one: does anyone know of any high-stall torque convertors out or in development for our tranny? Feel free to flame the AT
It's just that the difference in 0-60 time from at and mt is too great (~2 sec.) while the drivetrain losses should only be causing a 1 sec diff at most. The taller at gears need a high-stall torque converter to get us into the power quicker from a stop. I suspect this is the 'lag' most AT users speak of not so
e sort of bizzaro quirk in the dbw.
