its funny you mentioned that. i kinda noticed the same thing recently. but i just figured it was my cold air intake.

also i noticed Vtec is around 5k.. while on Forza3 its like 6k~

 

Low frequency noise at open rear window is the flow of lots of pulsating air rushing by causing flow separation along the side of the window, starting at the
A(front) windshield pilar. A vertical deflector placed at the frontof the rear window at the B pilar will reduce pulsating , but increase constant ''swish'' noise.

and the sound is coming from the rear... is it the axle?? somebody is mentioning about the heat shields, which i dunno where theyre located..

Mine seems louder but I took off the air cover lid for more induction noise.

 

I have been having the same problems recently. I tend to notice it at idle as well. Had the Fit since Sept. 2009 and it has about 24,000km. It always seems to be at higher RPMs. When I'm going downhill and have it at 3rd gear, the whole gas pedal is shaking and with the louder engine noise than before.

Not sure if you have this problem as well, but there has also been a weird smell coming from the fans, especially the ones close to the windshield. Not sure if this would have anything to do with the noise as well or maybe the air filter?
