ha thanks for the kind words. I'm actually new to the detailing world. There is a whole huge detailing world out there. Like I've mentioned before..check out Autopia.org if you have any questions about properly detailing your vehicle.
I dry with microfiber towels and apply a little bit of pressure (bad) but no swirl marks at all yet. Hell, I use a silicone squeege (bad) and I still have no wash related scratches. Just wash very well so there are no particles to get caught and scratch something.
No one washes the Fit but me! That is the rule because even doing everything right you can still get light swirls. I ended up washing, claying and doing two coats of Next Gen 2.0 wax and it did a great job in making the paint look great. Very reflective, this is the only picture I took of my own car -
