My Fit Progress so far (lots of pics)
The install is a little bit tedious compared to the adapters or the drop-in Mugen. There is a DIY with pics somewhere on FF if you search for it, plus if you watch Bernardi's video on installing the Mugen you'll get good visuals on how to remove the center console, and the clips on the cables.
It took some time for it to "break in" and I was not all that happy with it at first (like when I first installed it, I thought I might have stretched out the return spring because it would not center which in turn made it feel sloppy) but after a 2-3 weeks it seemed to really come into its own and now I love it. Have had it 6 months now.

Sorry to hijack the thread. I'll stop talking short shifters now
No offense, but it's pretty retarded to add a RSB if you're still on stock suspension. You need a goal for your car before you end up wasting money on various parts. Wheels and tires are expensive, but you gotta pay to play. You should just save the $$$ you'd spend on RSB and T1R shifter until you can afford wheels/tires...IMHO.

I'm not sure a $75 short shifter is "wasting money," though. It's not like it conflicts with saving for bigger purchases (it pales in comparison to the grand or or whatever I'd drop on rims), and it should make my stock Fit more fun to drive in the mean time.
Thanks.
sorry i haven't responded, been out of the country and haven't really been on the forum lately. my car actually looks pretty much the same haha, dont really have any other plans anymore. maybe a new car when the ft-86 comes out
i got my x-bars from a member here, ghettoboy247

if you actually go to ft86club.com you can see that as of now, for the n. american market there are high speculations that it will be called a scion. elsewhere will be toyota. since i am in the states, i am wishing it will be toyota rather than scion, hence the 1% that i mentioned in the previous post. due to toyota being the parent company and scion being only in n. america, it is not a surprise that it will have a toyota logo, but it doesn't mean it will remain a toyota in markets where other sub-toyota brands are present (i.e. scion)

my actual opinion on it is that it will probably be a Toyota, since it will probably be a fairly expensive car, and Scion is more of the "budget-line" (said with sarcasm since most of the cars are more expensive than Toyota's budget models haha) directed toward the very frugal generation-Y car buyers.
nothing we can do but wait and see, but I have at least a 50% shot at being right
true, all good points! Was just giving you a hard time
