There is a T1R for the ge8 but it is fairly new and several people have had problems with the Check engine light coming on after installing the intake you can read about it here https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...e-install.html. The manufacturer has said that they are working on a fix but if I were you I would wait until version two comes out. Otherwise if you have to do it now then I would go with the PRM. There is plenty of info on either option that you can find with a google search just add at the end site:fitfreak.net good luck.

I've been running with a PRM for 6 months. Never had a CEL and it sounds great.

I have the Injen SRI/CAI and since I took off the 'snorkel' (thing attached to the underside of the hood) I get WAY better throttle response. I also drove my car without the grill and the radiator plate and WOW! Craazy better but I put it back on because I'm afraid some racoon would commit suicide and get stuck in there

I just bought the PRM intake because it has no bends...now If I can just get it to work properly, I think it will outperform any other intake that has bends in the piping.

I pity the fool that doesn't try to DIY first can't go wrong for $50 and it puts out one beastly growl.

lol...lyon is really pushing the DIY...I'm glad you worked it out but I just don't see it being as effective as say the PRM which has no bends. Air velocity is very important when it comes to intakes. Also it doesn't really matter to me but the look of the DIY is pretty crappy...but like i said I'm more concerned about performance vs. looks.

For others though look is very important just reference this thread.

Sorry no gran turismo, but I'll be more than happy to whoop that butt in COD

As for the intake, I think we need to do a dyno on Lyon's DIY intake. I would love to dyno my Injen both SRI and CAI but it's gonna cost me $140 lol. Would love to see the actual improvements our intake gives.

COD doesn't have auto aim either! Cmon buy it!!! I'm kinda sucking right now though...

Oh yea, I just switched my SRI to CAI and let me just say I miss the low end torque-e-ness. Was a pain installing back to CAI too lol.

Forget Modern Campfare and RSV2, BFBC2 FTW! I will never go back to non-destructible environments.
