whining high pitched noise
It's your tires, yep your tires. If you have the Dunlops and they are relatively new, they do that. How do I know, I switched to Michelin Ice X during the winter, noise gone. But got a swishing noise from the Ice X when wet. Now have the Dunlops back on but being they now have 13k on them the noise has quieted some, but still there. Yep left front because you are sitting there. If you have a passenger or have someone else drive, can hear the noise,it will be coming from the right front. The noise comes from the bottom front corner of the door, closest to the wheel well. Leaving off the gas stops the noise, applying starts it again.
