I'm sticking with halogen until I can afford the retro. I already bought a set of extra headlights, just need to get the kit. Altogether should end up costing me <$500 if I can do everything DIY. Wiring is my only worry, but I'm getting a prepacked kit from theretrofitsource so hopefully it won't be too complicated.

Yep. The Kit I want is $325 + the $130 I spent on a set of extra headlights. If you were to send them off the be done you'd be looking at well over that. I know one member on here spent 1K on his retro.

Red is rare, and I think for a reason. IMO red looks the worst on the fit. My favorite color for the USDM fit is the blue from the GD's. When/if I ever need a paint job I'd like a green similar to the paint found here http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_...0005_large.jpg

Sorry guys, but i think you mean "amperage" instead of "voltage"

don't mean to nitpick, just thought it was kinda funny

edit: i don't see too many red Fits either, although there's a MR base sitting on the dealer's lot.

Milano red just doesn't do it for me on the fit for some reason.

And yeah, I was trying to think what to say for the fuse. In my head it went, "watts? volts? Well, I don't really know, so volts it is" lol.

good luck roddy. hope all goes well. as for me im lookin to order Xentec HIDs.

Colors up here are pretty even. 2-3 of each color. There was some hot chick in a CBP sport with HiD headlights and fogs i drove by the other day. I havnt really seen any of the drivers. usually when i see other Fits they're always parked.

anyone know the bulb size for our GE's? H4 headlights H11 fogs?
