^^^ No cutouts for tweeters or Airbag.

Who is going to be the first to use that spray flock on their dash?

Would same material those that unholstered their door panels not work as well?

No need for tweeter cutouts for me, mine are on the a-pillars. My 2" bluetooth speakers are in the factory dash tweeter locations. if you look at the right side of the mat, theres a slit above and in between radio and the upper glove box. The whole thing will lift up if the airbag activates.

Well, before I knew any better, I did put ArmorAll on my dash.... and surprise, I got crap on the inside of the windshield.

Will soap and water on the dash take any remaining residue off? Or spraying over with Prima Nero fix the problem?

oakley shades are extremely high quality and will actually protect your eyes unlike most other manufacturers claim to do... now they're def not worth $1500 but i would say anything under $300(as long as you take care of them) is def worth it

if you can afford it, then whatever makes you happy.

i have done research into shades and aside from the better impact resistant the oakleys are, they are no better for your eyes then a 40-100 pair of bolles.

100% uva uvb as long as the lens are not make of plastic your good to go

polarization is good and many low cost frames can have just as good uv and polarization as oakeys

they are way over hyped and over priced

thats just my opinion from my research

ps: im sorry for hijacking this thread. i think the dash cover does a great job of reducing glare and heat.

last thread jacking, but try to do a little more research, for polarized, most companies use a layer system for their polarization and they make it sound great, "7-layer polarization" well thats actually horrible, because just by curving a lense it starts to distort your view, now multiply that distortion by 7... with oakley everything is done at the molecule level, so its all infused... also since curving a lense disorts your view oakley has a way of making the lense(can't recall the name haven't worked there for about 2 years now) so that the thickness of the lense differs at the curves so you don't get that distortion(you can pm for questions on how to see how much distortion a lense has)

also for the UV protection your right its about the same, when the pair is brand new, but another prblem is most other brands use a UV coating for the protection, and thats great until you scratch the glasses, once you scratch them you lose that protection and actually make it worse for your eye because behind the glass your eye will be more dialated which will allow more uv rays in... oakley's uv protection works like the polarization, its infused...

any other questions or comments feel free to pm me, no more thread jacking, sorry just thought i'd clear the confusion...

@FIT410S: If you're happy with your eye wear then good for you. Trust me, you're not the first of many who jumps off their pants when commenting about Oakley and how they are just supposed to be hyped BUT until then... you might want to dig deeper before comparing any run-off-the-mill so called polarized lenses.

Would you call Tag Heuer or Rolex hype???

There might be no justifying a $1,400 or $4000 pair of Oakley. Even if these were on a made to order basis and carved from a single block of aluminum and block of carbon to produce a single pair of CSIX but then again... who does know if it's worth it or not???

The finer things in life is well worth every penny when you worked hard for it... reward yourself for a job well done some times (I do it once or twice a year) doesn't matter what it is, doesn't matter if it'll cost $10 or $10,000... you know you're worth it.

Sorry for the hijacking...

Imagine that - $1400 one size fits all glasses. Sickening.

I'm done with the thread jacking - but it is only dashmats_
