can any one give any input on how they did this? im still a little confuzzled. so after reading THIS <--- DIY the second part further down the page seems alot easyer.

from what i understand you take off the colum cover and remove the headlight/foglight switch from the colum. pop off a clip cover and locate a green wire and a grey wire. tap the grey wire into the green wire and its done.

that correct?

I could give you a hand with that. I just did it myself a couple weeks ago. I used the page that Roger's Fit has up. He does good tutorials. The instructions make it look long and confusing, but once you've done it, they make complete sense. The 'touchiest' part was tapping the grey and green together. Those ares are so delicate! But it works well. I found the diodes at the Radio Shack behind the Sears mall.

I also replaced my interior lights with LED's, then linked the map lights to the dome light. That's a little more difficult because you're in the car using the soldering iron. Finally, I can see when I open the doors. Well...in my garage, at least. I haven't had the car long enough to drive it at night, so no idea about headlights and all that stuff.

Actually, I bought them from SuperBrightLEDs.com in St Louis. They have unusually good shipping fees to AK. For three dome bulbs and one for the trunk, plus shipping, I paid about $35. They arrived in a week via regular mail.

We'll just have to arrange to meet up some time.
