2010 FIT rear wheel well

3 months ago I got me the Crosstour 4wd EXL, love it but also was looking for a small runner and decided on a 2010 Fit Sport SSM.

My concern is about the Fit rear wheel well... I just noticed it when I was washing the car today, where's the plastic wheel well cover? Is mine missing half of the plastic cover?

You're not missing anything. There is no cover.

Thanx Goobers. My concern now is the exposed metal (part of the chassis) without the rubberized paint. Looks like a rust prone area. Is it ok to treat that area to make it more resistant to chips from tiny rocks coming of the tires?

There is a coating of rust protection applied from the factory. If you want to add more, I'm sure it would be fine.

My brother-in-law has a 10 year Nissan pathfinder with exposed wells too. No signs of rusting there.

Good to know.

Racked up about 11K miles in just 3 months on my Crosstour with a $160/wk of gas. Now, i'm really glad I have the Fit to balance things out... Fit for spring, summer and fall... Crosstour will take care of winter

I paid my dealer an extra $200 for "sound proofing" which is really rust proofing but supposedly thicker. I couldn't say if it was worth it as I've only had the car less than a month.
